Ingredients

  • 1/2 small Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Dried parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/8 tsp. Black pepper
  • 1 26 oz jar Carb Options Garden Style Sauce 1 8 oz pkg Shredded mozzarella cheese

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

In food processor or mini-chopper, chop onion and garlic, medium to fine. In 8 inch skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook onion mixture, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until onion is translucent. Remove from heat and let cool completely

In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredient except mozzarella cheese and Garden Style Sauce, shape into 20 (2 inch) meatballs.

In a 9x13 baking dish, arrange meatballs. Bake 25 minutes. Pour Sauce over meatballs, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Bake an additional 10 minutes or until meatballs are thoroughly cooked.

Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving
