Oreo Truffles

Ingredients

• 1 pkg. Oreo cookies
• 1 8oz pkg. cream cheese
• 1 pkg . Log House Candi Quik (Chocolate)

Preparation

Step 1

Crush the Oreos in a food processor. Mix in cream cheese.

Form round balls and place on wax paper. Melt Candi Quik chocolate in microwave according to directions on package. Dip the Oreo/cream cheese balls in chocolate and let dry on wax paper. Store in refrigerator.


Variation:
Peppermint Oreo Truffles - Use 1 row of package of Cool Mint Oreos and half a row of regular Oreos (because the Cool Mint are Double Stuff) with 4 oz cream cheese. After dipping in Candi Quik chocolate, sprinkle the top with a little crushed candy cane or peppermint candies.

Tips:
It's easier to make half the recipe at a time.
Do not use Double Stuff Oreos because the balls will be too mushy.
Melt 2 rectangles of the Candi Quik at a time because it dries quickly.
