Ingredients
- 3 cups light cream
- 1-3/4 cups sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup coffee, chilled
- 1 cup whipping cream

Preparation
Step 1
1. Scald the light cream and add sugar.
2. Stir until dissolved.
3. In the top of a double boiler, add cream to beaten eggs and mix thoroughly.
4. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat and chill.
5. Add coffee, whipping cream and salt.
6. Use this coffee mixture in your ice cream maker, and add vanilla when almost frozen.
