Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Round steak cut into 2" x 1" x 1/2" strip
  • 2 med. onions Chopped
  • 2 Cans Mushrooms - drained
  • 1 #303 can Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Beef bullion water
  • 2 cups Burgundy wine
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Flour
  • 2 oz Brandy

Step 1

Cut meat into slivers and shake in a bag with 2 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 tsp each of garlic salt, pepper, and salt.

Brown in 2 tablespoons of butter. Add tomatoes, bullion, and 1 cup of burgundy. Simmer @ 250 for 1 hour; add extra burdundy as needed.

Cream sour cream and flour in large bowl. Take some gravy and put in sour cream a little at a time. Add to meat with brandy, increase heat slightly.

Serve over noodles or rice.
