Ingredients
- 4 oz mushrooms
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1/8 t garlic powder
- 1/8 t pepper
- 1 cup uncooked brown rice
- 1 jar pimentos, drained
- 1/2 cup water chestnuts

Preparation
Step 1
1. Drain mushrooms, save liquid and set aside. Add water to mushroom liquid to equal 3/4 cup liquid.
2. Combine liquid, broth, garlic powder, and pepper in a med saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir in mushrroms and remaining ingredients. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20-25 min until rice is tender.
