Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375*F. Blend butter and cream cheese together until smooth. Add sugar until well blended, and fluffy. Add vanilla. Add flour little at a time until well blended.
Turn out on lightly floured board, (do not kneed in to much flour) roll out to about about 1/4" cut with cookie cutter of your choice. Roll into granulated sugar and place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet, about 1/2" apart. Bake for 10 min. remove promply and cool on wire rack. Makes about 3 dozen 1" cookies.
Icing
1/2 cup butter, softened
1-1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract (clear)
Blend all ingredients together until well blended, you may add Concentrated Icing Color Paste at this time, if you want colored icing.
