Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 5 med. Onions
- 5 strips of Bacon
- 1 1/4 Cup of Milk
- 5 Eggs
- 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
- Salt
- Pepper
- Tobasca Sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter.
Chop 5 onions, very fine.
Dice bacon very fine.
Simmer all gently without browning.
Boil milk, and beat eggs.
Add smothered onions and bacon to milk and egg mixture.
Season with salt and pepper. add nutmeg and dash of Tobasco sauce.
Pour into 9 inch pie pan lined with pastry.
Bake as custard.
450 degrees for 15 minutes an lower to 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
