Ingredients

  • 3 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Stir together first 3 ingredients with 1/2 tsp salt.
Beat butter for 30 seconds; add the 2 cups sugar.
Add eggs, milk and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients.
Form 1 inch balls; roll in a mixture of the 3 Tbsp of sugar & cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet and then flatten slightly with bottom of glass.
Bake at 375 for about 8 minutes.
