TANGY GARLIC WINGS (Larry Tite )

Ingredients

  • 1 ) 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 ) 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 ) 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 4 ) 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 5 ) 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 6 ) 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 7 ) 2 dashes hot sauce
  • 8 ) 4 1/2 pounds chicken wings

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine ketchup, butter, vinegar, mustard, chili powder, garlic salt, and hot sauce. Add wings, tossing to coat; chill for 4 hours. Preheat oven to 400. Line rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper. Remove chicken, reserving marinade, and place on prepared baking sheets in a single layer. Brush wings with marinade. Bake 30 minutes or until chicken is done. Discard any remaining marinade.
