Ingredients
- 1 large bag of plain stuffing mix
- 2 whole mild Portuguese sausages, chopped into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 can straw or oyster mushrooms, chopped
- 1 can water chestnuts, chopped
- 4 cups turkey trimmings of bone, shredded
- 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
- 1 stick real butter
- 2 drops liquid smoke (optional)
- 1 can chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup turkey drippings

Step 1
Add together in a pot the Portuguese sausage cover with water and bring to a boil. Add chicken broth, drippings and butter. Lower heat to medium low. Add shredded turkey, mushrooms, water chestnuts, Chinese parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Lower heat to low. Add stuffing mix to pot and blend ingredients.
