Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs (I use Eggbeaters)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup milk

Step 1
1. Melt the butter in a skillet over low heat. Add pecans and salt and sauté, stirring constantly, until pecans start to turn brown. Drain butter into a small bowl and transfer the pecans to another bowl and let cool.
2. Whisk eggs until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes. Whisk in sugar, a little at a time. Pour in cream, and milk, add the melted butter and blend.
3. Freeze in ice cream maker.
4. After ice cream stiffens, about 2 minutes before it's done, add the pecans, then continue freezing until ice cream is ready.
