  • 16 eggs

  • Stick of Pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/4 lb. prosciutto

  • 5 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp. of baking powder
  • 5 tbsps. of Crisco shortening
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 glass of water

Preparation

Step 1

For pie, cut ham into 1/2 inch cubes. Beat eggs and mix together with cheese and pepperoni that has the skin taken off and cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Add the prosciutto last.


For pie crust, mix dry ingredients and cut in Crisco shortening. Add eggs one at a time and roll into round ball. Add water and cut dough into 2 balls for bottom and top crusts. Roll out and line pie plate with bottom crust. Pour egg mixture into pie crust. Add top crust and brush with beaten egg yolk. Bake 1 and 1/2 hours in 325 degree oven.
