Ingredients

  • Icing:
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 tbs cocoa
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2/3 cup oil or spry
  • 2 tbs vinegar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup cold water
  • 3 tbs flour
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 3/4 cup spry
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all the cake ingredients together. Pour into an ungreased pan. Bake on 350° for 20-25 minutes.

Icing:
Put the cold water in a small saucepan. Add flour 1 tbs at a time. Cook until thick.

Cream together spry and sugar. Add vanilla. Add to flour mixture. Ice cake.
