Ingredients
- st set of ingredients:
- 1/2 c. soft butter
- 2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. double acting baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 2/3 c. milk
- nd set:
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- FROSTING:
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/3 c. unsweet cocoa
- 2 2/3 c. sifted confectioner's sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. cream or evap. milk

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter, sift in flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the pb and milk. Mix till all flour is dampened. Beat 2 min. at low speed. Add second set of ingredients.
Beat 2 mins. longer. Pour into two 9" layer pans, lined with wax paper on bottom. Bake at 375 for 20 mins. Cool & frost.
FROSTING:
Cream peanut butter & cocoa, add confectioner's sugar, salt, vanilla, and cream or evaporated milk. Beat till smooth.
