Ingredients

  • 1 ) 1 (17-inch) loaf French white bread
  • 2 ) 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 ) 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 4 ) 1 teaspoon Italian-seasoning
  • 5 ) 5 green leaf lettuce leaves
  • 6 ) 1/2 pound thinly sliced deli ham
  • 7 ) 1/4 pound thinly sliced deli Swiss cheese
  • 8 ) 1/2 pound thinly sliced deli turkey
  • 9 ) 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 10 ) 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers

Step 1

These are best made the morning of the party. Wrap them airtight, and keep chilled until ready to serve. Use party picks to hold them together. Sliced bread loaf in half lengthwise. Pull out and discard excess bread in both halves of the loaf. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, and seasoning. Spread mixture evenly on bread. Arrange lettuce on bottom half of bread. Top with ham, cheese, turkey, tomato slices, and peppers; cover with remaining bread half. Cut into slices.
