Ingredients
- 1 ) 2 pounds mild or hot sausage
- 2 ) 1 pound velveeta cheese, cubed
- 3 ) 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 ) 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 5 ) 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 6 ) 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 7 ) salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ) 1 jar pizza sauce
- 9 ) 2 loaves sliced party rye bread
- 10 ) 1/2 cup or more Parmesan cheese
- 11 ) 8-10 oz. pkg. shredded mozzarella

Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until no longer pink; drain. Add velvette cheese, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and seasonings; stir until cheese is melted. Add a tablespoon of pizza sauce to the top of each slice of rye bread and place on ungreased baking sheets. Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons hot mixture on each bread slice. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake in preheated 375 oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown on edges and cheese is bubbly. Note: These can be made up in advance and frozen on cookie sheets before baking. Once frozen, store in ziploc bags.
