Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup White sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups Cranberries
  • 1/2 cup walnuts - chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter - melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. Almond extract
  • 1/4 cup almonds slivered
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease one 9-inch pie pan.

Combine flour, sugar, salt. Stir in cranberries and walnuts, and toss to coat. Stir in the butter beaten eggs, and almond extract. If you are using frozen cranberries, mixture will be very thick. Spread batter into the prepared pie pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

TOPPING:

Mix ingredients and sprinkle over top AFTER pie has baked.
