Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 3 cups warmed chicken or vegetable broth
- 32 oz butternut squash puree
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp sage
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 c whipping cream (or half and half)

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion in butter until translucent. Stir in broth and puree. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to medium-low, stir occasionally for 15 minutes. Add seasonings, stir in cream and puree.
