Ingredients

  • Streusel Topping
  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 6 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples (4-6 medium)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter softened
  • 1 1/4 tea. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tea. nutmeg
  • 2 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 baking dish.

Prepare Streusel Topping: Mix baking mix, nuts and brown sugar. Cut in butter with fork or pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Set aside.

Spread apples in baking dish. Beat remaining ingredients in blender on high speed about 15 seconds, or with wire whisk or hand beater about 1 minute, until smooth. Pour over apples. Sprinkle with Streusel.

Bake about 55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean; cool.
