Spinach Salad with Orange-Chili Glazed Shrimp 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 8 tbsp Orange juice
  • 2 tbsp Cider vinegar
  • 2 Clove garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 2 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon Crushed red pepper
  • 2 Ripe large mango or medium Papaya
  • 2-4 cups washed and torn fresh Spinach leaves
  • 1 cup Crumbled feta cheese
  • Orange Chili Glazed Shrimp
  • 1 cup Orange juice
  • 8 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 lb raw large shrimp peeled and deveined

Preparation

Step 1

Note: The amounts of the ingredients are modified to yield a new amount. The directions below have not been adjusted and still refers to the original recipe yield of 4 Spinach salad with orange-chili glazed shrimp.
Procedure
 
1. Heat small nonstick skillet over medium heat.
2. Add sesame seeds and cook, stirring often about 4 minutes or until golden.
3. Pour into small bowl.
4. Add orange juice, vinegar, garlic, orange peel, oil, honey and red pepper; stir to combine.
5. Set aside.
6. Peel mango or papaya.
7. Cut away from pit ; cut into cubes or slices.
8. Discard tough stems from spinach leaves.
9. Place in large bowl and toss with dressing.
10. Top with mango , cheese and shrimp.
11. Shrimp combine juice, garlic and chili powder in large nonstick skillet.
12. Bring to boil and boil 3 minutes until mixture just coats bottom of pan.
13. Reduce heat to medium.
14. Add shrimp; cook and stir 2 minutes or until shrimp are opaque and juice mixture coats shrimp.
