Ingredients
- Nut Crust:
- 1 1/2 sticks of melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups pecans
- Mix well and press into a 9 X 13 baking dish and press it up the sides, bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until done, and let cool.
- Layer 1:
- 4 egg whites with 1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Beat until it peaks
- Add:
- 1/2 cup of sugar and beat some more.
- Pour onto the cooled crust and up the sides.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 15-18 minutes, until light brown.
- Cool.
- Layer 2
- Mix and spread 1/2 over cooled Layer 1. Chill the other 1/2.
- 4 beaten egg yolks
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup melted milk chocolate chips (melt in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes
- Layer 3
- Beat until thick and spread 1/2 over Layer 2.
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 slightly heaped teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups heavy cream
- Layer 4
- Combine remaining whipped cream with chocolate mixture and spread over Layer 3.
- Chill for 4 hours, or even better, over night.
