Ingredients

  • Nut Crust:
  • 1 1/2 sticks of melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans
  • Mix well and press into a 9 X 13 baking dish and press it up the sides, bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until done, and let cool.
  • Layer 1:
  • 4 egg whites with 1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Beat until it peaks
  • Add:
  • 1/2 cup of sugar and beat some more.
  • Pour onto the cooled crust and up the sides.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 15-18 minutes, until light brown.
  • Cool.
  • Layer 2
  • Mix and spread 1/2 over cooled Layer 1. Chill the other 1/2.
  • 4 beaten egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup melted milk chocolate chips (melt in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes
  • Layer 3
  • Beat until thick and spread 1/2 over Layer 2.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 slightly heaped teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • Layer 4
  • Combine remaining whipped cream with chocolate mixture and spread over Layer 3.
  • Chill for 4 hours, or even better, over night.
