- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped black walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
Mix egg, sugar and cream. Blend in dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Fold in nuts. Baked in greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees. English walnuts can be used. For extra flavor add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
