Beer batter for fish

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup flat beer
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp. oil

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, cornstarch, pepper and garlic powder. Add beer, egg and oil. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Heat deep fryer, coat fish with batter and deep fry.
