Ingredients

  • 2-3 cans of Chili with or without beans
  • 1 onion, diced (sauteed if you like)
  • 1 bell pepper, diced (sauteed if you like)
  • 2-3 cups grated cheese (mozzarella and/or cheddar)
  • Large bag of the small size Frito chips, divided (if not using the small size crunch them up)
  • Sour Cream, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Spray large/deep casserole dish with cooking spray. Preheat the chili on stove or in microwave. Put a handful of the fritos on the bottom of the casserole dish. (Save some chips and cheese for the top.)

Layer:
Chili
Onion and bell pepper
Chips
Cheese
Start over with chips
Layer until out of ingredients topping with chips and cheese

Bake at 350 degrees until cooked through and bubbly, 20-30 minutes.

Serve with sour cream if desired.
