Rest of family thought was good! Mike didn't really like, but he doesn't like "dipping" bread.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dry milk powder
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning (or thyme, rosemary, & oregano)
  • 1 3/4 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. (as listed above)

2. Select the Medium Crust and Basic/White Bread settings, and press Start.

2. Or, press dough cycle. Preheat oven to 350deg, add stone pan and heat up while oven is preheating.

3. Once dough has risen in bread machine, take out, put a little flour on outside, then form into long loaf on stone. Allow to rise about 30 min to 1 hour.

4. Bake for 20-25 min, til top lightly browned.

5. Dip in flavored olive oil.
