Red Wine Sangria

Note: To make simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and cold water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring, and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Let cool to room temperature. Store in the refrigerator.

Ingredients
- 2 bottles red wine
- 1 1/4 cups brandy
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 cups pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup simple syrup (see note)
- 2 oranges, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 Minneola tangelo, sliced
- Seeds of 1 pomegranate
- Orange slices, for garnish
- Lemon slices, for garnish

Preparation
Step 1
Combine wine, brandy, orange juice, pomegranate juice, simple syrup, oranges, lemon, tangelo and pomegranate seeds.
Place in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
Serve in tall glasses or wine goblets, garnished with orange and lemon slices.
