Ingredients

- Total time: 6 to 7 hours
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 carrots, cut into small pieces
- 2 Tbls. arrowroot powder
- 2 tsp. dried marjoram
- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 3/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 4 tsp. paprika
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 16 oz. spelt or brown rice noodles or pasta, cooked
- Chopped fresh parsley

Preparation
Step 1
Place the onions and carrots into a slow cooker. Combine arrowroot powder, marjoram, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Add the beef to the bowl and stir to coat. Add the coated beef to the slow cooker. Combine the broth, tomato paste, paprika, and garlic, and pour it over the beef. Cover and cook for 6 to 7 hours on low. When ready to serve, place the cooked noodles on a platter, top them with the goulash, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
