  • 1 1/2 pound t-bone steak, 1 inch thick
  • 1 clove garlic, halved
  • 1 large onion, cut into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Step 1

Rub both sides of steak and grill.

Place steak and onion sliced on greased grill over medium coals.

Grill 12 to 15 minutes or to medium doneness (160 degrees), brushing steak and onion sliced frequently with barbecue sauce and turning occasionally.

*Using Broiler:*

Place steak, and onion slices on greased rack of broiler pan. Broil 3-4 inches from heat, 12 to 15 minutes or to medium doneness (160 degrees), brushing steak and onion slices frequently with barbecued sauce.
