Ingredients

  • First ten days:
  • 1/2 cups starter
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • Lg. can peaches chopped, with juice
  • Second ten:
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 lg. can pineapple, chopped, with juice
  • Third ten:
  • 2- 9oz bottles maraschino cherries, chopped and drained
  • For cake:
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup veg. oil
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 heaping tbsp flour
  • 1 box vanilla pudding
  • 1 1/2 cups fruit mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Add ingredients listed to starter every ten days and stir daily.
At end:
Drain juice from fruit overnight and save 1 1/2 cups for yourself.
Divide fruit into 3. Can be frozen.
Combine cake ingredients and place in greased and floured tube pan at 325 for about 1 hour 15 min.
Serve with cream cheese icing.
