Grilled Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups beer
- 4 scallions, minced
- 1/3 cup oil
- 3 Tbs. soy sauce
- 2 Tbs. brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 1/2 pound flank steak

In large glass bowl combine beer, scallions, oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, salt, red pepper flakes, and ginger. Stir to combine. Put steak in a large freezer baggie, and pour marinade over. Seal bag and leave in refrigerator to marinate overnight, or up to 3 days, turning bag twice daily. (I leave in for 3 days.)
Grill steak on barbecue or broil 2 inches from heat, about 5 minutes on each side. Cut across grain into thin slices.
