Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 1/4 sticks (10 tbs) cold unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 tbs ice water

Preparation
Step 1
In a food processor, fitted with a steel blade, process the flour with butter, sugar and salt until a coarse meal forms. With the machine running, add ice water through feed tube and process just until a ball of dough forms. Roll out the tart dough on a floured surface into a 10 inch round. Fit the dough into a 9 inch tart pan with a removable bottom.
Put foil over dough and then add weights so it doesn't bubble. Cook on 400° for 15 minutes.
