  • 1 TSP BAKING SODA
  • 1/2 TSP SALT
  • 4 EGG WHITES
  • COCONUT ICING
  • 1 CUP WHITE SUGAR
  • 1 CUP EVAPORATED MILK
  • 1/2 CUP BUTTER
  • 3 BEATEN EGG YOLKS
  • 1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 1 1/3 CUPS COCONUT FLAKES

Step 1

CAKE
HEAT WATER, MELT CHOCOLATE LET COOL
LARGE BOWL CREAM TOGETHER BUTTER
SUGAR, BLEND IN CHOCOLATE MIXTURE
VANILLA, BEAT IN FLOUR ADD IN REMAINING
INGREDIENTS BLEND TOGETHER.
POUR INTO PAN BAKE AT 350 F FOR 30 MINS
OR TILL NO LONGER WET IN THE MIDDLE
9 BY 11 PAN




ICING
COMBINE SUGAR, MILK YOLKS COOK OVER
LOW HEAT TILL THICK, REMOVE , STIR IN
COCONUT AND VANILLA, APPLY TO CAKE
