6 Week Bran Muffins
Make this wonderful muffin batter now, use later.
- Combine above and then mix:
- 1 (10 oz) box bran cereal (I smash mine in to little crumbs)
- 5 cups flour
- 5 t baking soda
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 t salt
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 4 eggs (stir them before adding)
- 1 cup oil
Store covered in refrigerator in a plastic gallon container.
Bake 15-20 minutes in 400 degree oven.
Bake 8-10 minutes in the mini cupcake maker.
Optional adds: nuts, craisins, raisins, banana, dried blueberries, chocolate chips, etc.
