Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 2/3 cup milk
- 2 1/3 cup flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 4 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt

Step 1
Cream butter and sugar. Combine eggs and milk. Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with egg mixture. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 400° for 22-27 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
