Ingredients
- 12 oz (340 g) spinach, rinsed, drained, trimmed and torn into bite-size pieces
- 1 cup (250 mL) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup (250 mL) bean sprouts
- 1/2 (1/2) small red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 2 tsp (10 mL) Crisco® Canola Oil
- 2 tsp (10 mL) sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) Crisco Canola Oil
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) cider vinegar
- 2 tsp (10 mL) sugar
- 1 tsp (5 mL) soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp (0.5 mL) pepper

Step 1
1. Toss spinach, mushrooms, bean sprouts and onion in large salad bowl.
2. Heat 2 teaspoons (10 mL) oil in small skillet. Add sesame seeds. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until sesame seeds are golden brown. Cool slightly.
3. Stir in 1/4 cup (50 mL) oil and remaining ingredients. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Pour over salad. Toss to coat. Serve immediately.
