    cup shortening

    cup brown sugar

    tsp. vanilla

    tsp. baking soda

    cups oats

  • 1

    cup white sugar

  • 2

    eggs

  • 2

    cups flour

  • 1/2

    tsp. baking powder

  • 1

    cup coconut

  • 2

    cups rice krispies

Directions

Cream shortening, sugar, brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in baking powder, baking soda and flour. Add coconut, oats and rice krispies. Mix well. Roll in small balls. Put on greased baking sheet. Flatten with wet fork. Bake at 375 degrees - about 7 minutes.
