- 2 LBS GROUND BEEF
- 2 CUPS FINELY CHOPPED ONION
- 4 CUPS FINELY CHOPPED CABBAGE
- 1 TSP SHORTENING
- 1 TBSP SALT
- 1 TBSP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
- 1/4 TSP OREGANO
- 1/4 TSP SAVORY
- 1/4 TSP BLACK PEPPER
- 2 TBSP WATER
- 1 EGG YOLK

Step 1
BROWN HAMBURGER IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN, STEAM ONION AND CABBAGE AND SHORTENING FOR 10-15 MINUTES. DRAIN LIQUID FROM BOTH PANS AND THEN COMBINE, ADD THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS EXCEPT YOLK AND WATER. ROLL OUT PORTIONS OF BREAD DOUGH. ADD 2/3 CUPS FILLING. BAKE 14 MINUTES AT 375, TAKE OUT AND GLAZE WITH EGG YOLK AND WATER MIXTURE. PUT BACK INTO OVEN UNTIL BROWN.
