Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 lg. onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 (6oz) cans tomato paste
  • 1 C. water
  • 2 TBS soy sauce
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp. each basil, oregano and parsley
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. each marjoram, thyme and rosemary
  • dash pepper

Step 1

In a large skillet, cook beef, mushrooms, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, water, soy sauce and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until heated through. Discard bay leaves. Serve over spaghetti.
