Ingredients
- Struesal:
- 1/2 cup butter - soft
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3 oz cream cheese - softened
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400. Beat butter and sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating just until blended after each addition.
Combine flour, baking powder & salt. Add to butter mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Beat at low speed just until blended after each addition.
Stir together 3 oz cream cheese - softened - & 1 tablespoon sugar. Dollop cream cheese mixture, 1 teaspoon at a time, over batter.
Sprinkle with streusel.
Bake at 400 for 22-24 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. (If not using cream cheese mixture, decrease baking time to 20-22 minutes)
