Ingredients
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 stick Margarine
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 5 Eggs - separated
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 cup Angel Flake Coconut
- 2 cups Cake Four
- 1 8 oz Cream cheese room temperature
- 1 stick margarine softened
- 1 box Confectioners sugar (10x)
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 cup Nuts coarsely chopped

Step 1
Cake:
Cream well: 2 cups of sugar, 1 stick margarine, and 1/2 cup Crisco.
Add 5 egg yolks - one at a time;
2 cups flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup Angel Flake Coconut
Add 5 beaten egg whites (stiff) and fold in.
Bake in THREE layers at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
ICING:
1 8z package of cream cheese - room temperature
1 stick margarine (softened)
1 box confectioners sugar (10x)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
Ice TOP of each layer ONLY - not the sides.
