EASY VANILLA REFRIGERATOR COOKIES ( Morgan Stemm)

Ingredients

• 1 ) 1 cup brown sugar, packed Edit Delete
• 2 ) 1 cup sugar Edit Delete
• 3 ) 1 cup shortening Edit Delete
• 4 ) 6 teaspoons vanilla Edit Delete
• 5 ) 2 eggs Edit Delete
• 6 ) 3 cups flour Edit Delete
• 7 ) 1 1/2 teaspoons salt Edit Delete
• 8 ) 1 teaspoon baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Mix first 5 ingredients all together in mixing bowl. Mix the last 3 ingredients together in a separate bowl. Then add to mixing bowl. Divide dough into 3 equal parts. Wrap in saran wrap - 1 1/2 to 7 inches long. Refrigerate for 4 hours, but no longer then 6 weeks (or freeze). Unwrap rolls, cut into equal slices and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove immediately from cookie sheets when done.
