  • Now that it’s Fall, this is a good time to take these delicious pumpkin bars.
  • 1 . 1-1/2 c. pumpkin pie filling
  • 2 . 2 c. sugar
  • 3 . 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 4 . 4 eggs
  • 5 . 1 t. vanilla
  • 6 . 2 c. flour
  • 7 . 2 t. baking powder
  • 8 . 1 t. baking soda
  • 9 . 1/2 t. salt
  • 10 . 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 11 . 1 can cream cheese frosting
  • 12 . food coloring

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. In large bowl beat together pumpkin, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and soda, and salt; gradually add to pumpkin mixture and mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 15x10x1 inch pan. Bake for 20-25 min. or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Tint frosting orange with food coloring; frost bars. Cut into pieces and add holiday decorations such as candy corn or pumpkins if desired.
