Ingredients

  • 2 cubes of butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 mashed bananas
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. chopped nuts; optional
  • 1 c. chocolate chips; optional

Preparation

Step 1

Cream first two ingredients with mixer. Add next 3 ingredients on medium speed until blended. Add mashed bananas, blend well. Mix flour & baking soda together, then add about 1 cup at a time until well blended. Stir in nuts by hand. Pour into 2 large or 3 small loaf pans sprayed with pam. Bake 50 to 60 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cook about 10 minutes in pan, then run a butter knife around all 4 sides and dump onto a cooling rack until completely cooled. Either freeze or keep in refrigerator. Can make 1/2 of recipe. Bake at 325.
