- 2 3/4 c. Graham flour (or use wheat flour).

- 1/4 c. melted shortening
- 2 3/4 c. white flour (more if needed)

Step 1
Mix 2 cup warm water, 1/2 cup molasses, 1 envelope yeast; together. Allow to stand for ten minutes. Stir in 2 3/4 cups Graham flour (or use wheat flour). Cover bowl with clean cloth and allow to rise in a warm. Place approximately 1/2 hour. Add 2 teaspoons salt, 1/4 cup melted shortening, 2 3/4 cups white flour (more if needed). Knead and allow to rise until double in bulk (app. 1 hr.). Punch down, place in two loaf pans. Cover with cloth. Allow to rise. Bake at 350 about one hour.
