- Frosting:
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 sticks margarine
- 6 tbsp. Hershey’s cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. butter
- 6 tbsp. Hershey’s cocoa
- 6 tbsp. milk
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Mix 2 cup flour (do not sift), 2 cup sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoon soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Melt in separate pan: 2 sticks margarine, 6 tablespoon Hershey’s cocoa, 1 cup water. Bring to boil and pour over flour mixture. Mix by spoon. Add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix again. Pour into greased cookie sheet. 11 x 16 x 1 inch pan with sides. Bake 350 degrees 15-20 minutes. Test with toothpick. Frosting: Butter, Hershey’s cocoa, and milk - bring to rolling boil and then add 1 box powdered sugar; not sifted. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Optional - chopped nuts up to one cup. Spread frosting on cake while hot.
