  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 4 squares semi sweet chocolate, melted
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. powdered sugar

Step 1

Mix oil, melted chocolate & white sugar. Blend in one egg at a time until well mixed. Add vanilla. Measure flour by sifting. Stir flour, baking powder and salt into oil mixture. Chill several hours or overnight. Heat oven to 350 (if too done turn down to 325). Drop teaspoons full of dough into a bowl of powdered sugar. Roll in fresh powdered sugar; shape into balls. Place about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. Do not over bake.
