Step 1

The salmon must be seasoned on both sides with fish seasoning.

Salmon must be placed skin-side down on the center of a clean ready-to-use cedar plank.

The salmon is placed on the top shelf of the salmon oven. The salmon oven is set to 600 degrees F.

Close the salmon oven door and set the timer.

The cook time for a 5 ounce salmon is 7 minutes.

Salmon is cooked to a medium temperature.

Once the salmon has finished cooking, carefully remove the cedar plank from the oven, and using tongs gently remove the salmon from the cedar plank.

Place the salmon at the 6 o'clock position inside of rim of a large round plate.

Depending on the ooking rotation of the cedar plank, place it in the appropriate pan or discard.
