  • 1 1/4 cups Cake flour
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Whipping cream
  • 4 large Egg whites
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. Pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pkg. Frosting and filling of your choice

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease 2 8-inch round cake pans.


Sift together flour and baking powder and set aside.

Whip cream in large bowl on high until it holds soft peaks.

Pour in the egg whites and continue beating until well combined.
Gradually beat in sugar, mixing thoroughly.
Mix in vanilla.

Stop the mixer.

Add the sifted dry ingredients and fold in with a rubber spatula.
Divide batter between prepared pans.
Bake until cakes spring back when touched lightly in the center - 30 minutes

Cool in pans 5 minutes, then invert onto a cooling rack and cool completely.

Fill and frost as desired.

Filling can be berries and cool whip but anything else you desire.
