  • 6 C sugar
  • 1 1/2 C butter
  • 1 1/3 C evaporated milk
  • 2 12-oz. packages of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 13-0z jar of Kraft marshmallow cream
  • 2 C chopped nuts
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, butter, and milk in a heavy 5-quart dutch oven over medium heat until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees (2 additional degrees for every 1/000 feet over sea level), stirring constantly.

Remove from heat, stir in chocolate pieces until melted. Add remaining ingredients and beat until well blended.

Pour into 2 greased 13x9" baking pans. Cool at warm temperature; cut into squares. Makes 6 pounds.
