Ingredients
- 1 c. rice
- 1 3/4 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 " ginger piece, thinly sliced

Step 1
Add rice and ginger to boiling water stirring only once. Cover, turn burner to lowest setting. steam for 18 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Remove ginger slices and fluff with fork before serving.
